A "Note" on Piano Tuning

Your piano provides year after year of pleasure, even if given only minimal service --- or none at all. No other machine in the home is expected to provide such lasting pleasure and durability. Yet many of its component materials are organic and mineral in nature, and after decades it is not unusual for screws to work their way loose, for dust to accumulate, and, yes, for the strings to careen out of pitch so that it needs tuning. But tuning alone can never restore the geometry of the action.

Broadmoore Piano Company employs techniques honed over five decades in business, while restoring every conceivable type of piano including “endangered” instruments – self-playing, perforated-paper-roll-operated marvels of the past that will never again be built. In the course of our labors, we have also perfected the techniques that bring any piano (whether player-piano or not) back to life. We have mastered the mechanical and musical restoration of upright and grand pianos, to their superb original condition.

If your piano seems to be performing below par, we are the specialists who can ferret out - and correct - the specific cause, restoring the instrument to the artistic execution of the labors for which it was created.
